A main field of activity of LUMINARY MEDIA - Videoproduktion Halle is multi-camera video recording and video production. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, LUMINARY MEDIA - Videoproduktion Halle can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. Remote-controlled cameras are used. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. In any case, more than two cameras are required when it comes to video recording of interviews and conversations with several people. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Editing of video and audio material

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing.
